Your giveaway brief
Answer the prompts. Turn the same details into useful copy.
What do giveaway terms need to explain?
Entrants need to know what is on offer and what they must do. Make eligibility and entry limits clear, name the promoter, describe the prize and explain the timetable for choosing, contacting and rewarding the winner.
The long version of your terms is only part of the job. Your initial announcement should also show the conditions that could affect someone’s decision to enter. Use the launch-post output to bring those details into your announcement, then check that it includes every significant restriction for your prize.
How to use your generated draft
- Fill in all four sections of the brief. Do not publish unfinished placeholders.
- Read the result and check it against the promotion you will actually run.
- Resolve any platform cautions or missing details. Get specialist advice for unusual promotions or terms you are unsure about.
- Publish the checked terms somewhere entrants can access throughout the promotion, and keep a dated copy.
- Link to that page in your launch post and entry form.
This is a drafting aid, not a legal review. It does not produce terms for paid draws, purchase requirements, children, regulated prizes, instant wins or subjective judging. Those need a brief and review suited to the promotion.
